NCCER Turner Recertification Practice Exam

The term "pulling rope" is the correct answer because it specifically refers to a rope that is utilized to exert force on an object, enabling precise control during demolition processes. In the context of in-line or slewing demolition, the pulling rope plays a vital role in guiding the direction and movement of the deep onion ball, ensuring safety and efficiency by allowing the operator to control the descent of the apparatus.

While the other terms might sound plausible, they do not accurately describe the function being performed. "Control rope" could imply a broader range of uses and does not capture the specific action of pulling. "Guide rope" suggests stability or direction but lacks the action connotation associated with movement. "Support rope" typically refers to a rope that bears weight rather than actively controlling movement. Thus, "pulling rope" is the most appropriate term in the context provided.
